Regional Kick off meeting
The REGIONAL Project was officially launched in Hannover, Germany on 6 and 7 February. REGIONAL will carry out a comparative analysis of how adult learning policies are developed and implemented in various regional contexts across Europe. The goal of the project is to benchmark policy formulation in the area of adult learning to extrapolate and share best practices among regional and local policy makers.
REGIONAL brings together 7 partners from 6 countries (Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Serbia and Slovakia) and is co-funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission.
During the kick-off meeting the partners defined the scope and scale of the research activities and established a common approach for primary and secondary research. In addition, partners discussed project management and dissemination aspects to ensure the implementation of the main project deliverables and products according to schedule.
